Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda’s most diverse and scenic wildlife reserves, stretching from the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains to the shores of Lake Edward. Its varied ecosystems include savannah plains, wetlands, crater lakes, and tropical forests.

The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, as well as elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant antelope species. Boat cruises along the Kazinga Channel offer remarkable close-up views of hippos and birds gathering along the water’s edge.
